Scarlett O’Hara

“Gone with the Wind” is a classic film released in 1939. The original script has been used for this project. The selected text explores and hopefully re-invents Scarlett, played by Vivien Leigh in the film. Scarlett, is a controversial, complex and formidable female personality that needs to be celebrated once again. This project focuses on three scenes from the film and uses the script to explore the many facets of Scarlett’s personality; she was flirtatious, she was strong, she was, at times, foolish.
